and I just love to share all my favorite
ways to make it extra fun! I am so
thankful for this platform to help and
meet other moms too. I lost my mom when I was 20 to cancer, she was
my best friend. I remember telling her I wanted to be a mom like
her, so she’s my inspiration in raising my kids, and living life to the
full.

After being a journalist for almost 10 years, I took a break for motherhood. Then one day my 3 year old came home from school with a certificate of his wish for 2024 to “Make a Monster Truck Video”. We do activities all the time so I filmed our painters tape parking lot with his monster trucks and that video went viral and reached 26M views. From that moment I found my calling! I love researching, telling stories, filming and editing so By Melissa Kate was born and combined all my interests and passions. After 4 years being pregnant or breastfeeding, I found myself again through this page and connecting with other moms.

QUESTIONS FOR

We love getting outside and going on outings, doing activities with cars and monster trucks, building train tracks, and traveling. We go to Australia once a year! That’s a 24+ hour travel journey and I’ve leant a thing or two along the way ;)
I always wanted to be a boy mom and feel so blessed! You’ll find me cheering on at monster truck shows. But fun fact, my favorite color is PINK!
As a TV reporter, I’ve interviewed The Rock, Stevie Nicks & Reece Witherspoon. My greatest non mom achievement was running the NYC Marathon in 4 hrs 13 mins (before I signed up I couldn’t run a mile!)
I moved to the US in 2014 as a freelance TV reporter, I was only meant to be here one year but I met my now husband (on Tinder!!) and 10 years later, here we are married with 2 kids!
